Market Director of Sales, Poland

JOB SUMMARY:

Functions as the strategic business leader of the Sales Department for 2 Complexproperties, as well as NSO team for Poland market. Responsible for achieving property revenue goals, team booking pace goals, guest and employee satisfaction and the financial performance of the department in each participating property. Leads on-property sales functions to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives. Evaluates and supports the property’s participation in the various sales channels (e.g.market sales, electronic channels, etc.) and develops strong working relationships to maximize property’s benefits.Proactively positions and markets each property.  
As a Market Director of Sales and an Executive Committee member, develops and implements multi-property strategies for all participating properties. Strategies focus on delivering products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of guests and employees and provide a return on investment. This senior person is supporting the strategies of the hotels in Poznan, Sopot and Krakow.

Reporting to Area General Manager, Poland. Main office is located at Sheraton Warsaw Hotel, though time need to be shared equally between covered properties.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • at least 4+ years of professional experience in similar role in the sales and/or marketing or related professional area;
  • excellent verbal & written communication skills both in English and Polish languages –other languages are an asset;
  • strong interpersonal skills – able to and enjoy working cross-functionally and across multiple business units to achieve company goals and proven ability to partner with other leaders;
  • experience in budgeting, forecasting, revenue management and implementing sales & marketing strategies;
  • proven track record in profitable sales management strategic and ability to clearly articulate a compelling vision and strategy;
  • understanding and execution of the sales process to effectively contract group business and secure corporate negotiated rate accounts;
  • display consistent professional leadership while simultaneously handling competing and changing priorities and projects;
  • excellent computer skills - ability to communicate effectively through email as well as manipulate and analyze information quickly from spreadsheets and databases;
  • knowledge of Hotel Computer Systems.
